Heather was the first addition to the Board at Women and Girls First. We are privileged to have her eagle eye for detail, her creativity and her heartfelt compassion for all issues that help elevate women across the globe!
Heather's Story
Heather Albright has lived on both the East and West Coasts, most of it in the bustling cities of California. Her passion for helping others and general wellness started at an early age. In her early teens, she spent several summers doing volunteer work in the optical field to become a certified optician. While working on her A.S in Nursing, she met Alexa Benson (Founder of Women and Girls First). During that time, she was involved with several community outreach and charity events both through work and school.
Heather has worked in the medical-surgical field for over 20 years now. She received her B.S. in Nursing in 2012. In January 2026, she received her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Heather has a passion for functional medicine, holistic care, Healing Touch, and women's health.
Heather is a strong believer and advocate for humanity, equity, and positive empowerment. “I am so honored and excited to be here working with Women and Girls First. Education is an important foundation for everyone, yet women around the world still lack access. I want to do what ever I can to help women and girls reach sovereignty.”
